Introduction
to Prescribing Toolkit and ePACT.net

This
section offers presentations explaining two of the electronic
systems that provide access to prescribing information
via the Prescription Pricing Division's NHSnet website.
Prescribing Toolkit
This
system includes sets of data likely to be required routinely
by those working on prescribing issues in primary care.
Toolkit uses a range of prescribing measures (ADQs,
STAR-PUs, etc) and allows comparison between different
PCTs, as well as the monitoring of trends.

ePACT.net
This
system allows users to request and view prescribing
information, and if required print the information or
copy it for use in other applications. Users can select
the specific areas (to presentation level) and time
period (last 5 years of available data) they require,
and how they wish it to be displayed.
