Training for ePACT.net / Hospital ePACT.net


Training courses for finance officers, pharmaceutical and prescribing advisors and analysts to enable them to better manage prescribers and associated costs using the ePACT.net service.

Basic ePACT.net training course

A two-day introductory training course designed for relevant staff with little, or no, experience of the ePACT.net system. It will introduce them to the functions of ePACT.net and show them how to use the system efficiently to analyse and report on prescribing performance.

Designed for:

  • Newly appointed PCT prescribing advisors
  • Newly appointed PCT finance officers working in the prescribing area
  • Analysts wishing to use ePACT.net to analyse PCT prescribing and who have little or no experience of the system.

Advanced ePACT.net – Advanced analytical techniques using ePACT.net data

This specialist two-day course is for experienced users and concentrates on advanced manipulation of ePACT.net data in Excel™ spreadsheets. It will show how to obtain data in the most efficient manner and how to manipulate it safely and accurately for complex prescribing tasks.

Designed for:

  • Experienced ePACT.net users who have previously attended a basic or conversion training course.

ePACT.net Hospital System Training Course

The purpose of this one day training course is to introduce Hospital Trust staff to the ePACT.net system. It will demonstrate the basic functions of ePACT.net and show you how to use the system efficiently to analyse and report on prescribing and financial performance.

It will also offer the opportunity for us to understand the type of information you need and how we can incorporate reports and graphs into the system to meet your requirements.
