Hospital ePACT.net
A
service for Trust pharmaceutical and prescribing advisors
which allows real time on-line access to outpatient
prescription data held on the NHSBSA PPD Prescribing
Database.
The
PPD has enhanced the existing ePACT.net service to provide
prescribing data electronically to Trusts. The electronic
analysis tool was developed to assist Trusts in the
analysis of prescriptions written on FP10 prescription
forms, which are dispensed by Community Pharmacists.
The
service provides both financial performance management
and drug usage reports for use by both pharmaceutical
and finance staff.
It
provides the facility to view historic data (eventually
five years worth). The service provides both prescribing
and dispensing information at Speciality level within
Trust.
Hospital
ePACT.net allows users to easily create their own graphs
and reports from an extensive range of data and also
provides a set of pre-defined graphs, tables and reports
such as.
- Trust
Level Analysis
- Hospital

- BNF
classification (chapter to presentation level).
The

users. This data can also be displayed in tabular and
graphical format.
