Feedback from Public Meeting: 10th October 2002

At the public meeting held in the Newcastle attendees were asked to provide feedback to help design future meetings.

Eleven members of the public attended the meeting

Additional comments on the venue:
  • Conveniently central and good parking facilities

  • Better car parking facilities

  • Very convenient

  • The home and away fixture philosophy is possibly the best compromise

  • I spent so much time networking that I couldn't make time to visit the displays

  • A very comprehensive overview in user-friendly format

  • Most informative a well structured event


Do you have any suggestions/comments for future meetings, or anything else you would like to add?

  • It perhaps may be held at differing venues around the country to add local flavour and questions, and finishing on time!!

  • A successful format with easy access to the PPA Board Members to network. It is unfortunate that such meetings are regularly so poorly attended.

  • A strategic view of the impact of IT on such issues as:
    - Patient information/compliance
    - Virtual Clinics
    - Interprofessional Collaboration
