Our Service Standards

Once we receive your completed application, including any supporting documentation, we will send you a letter telling you if you are entitled to a bursary and the amount you are entitled to.

We will normally deal with your application within 20 working days of the day we get your application form.

If we need more information or evidence, we will normally deal with your application within 5 working days of receiving the information or evidence we need.

We aim to:

• Process and pay childcare allowance claims within 20 working days of receipt.
• Process initial Disabled Students’ Allowance applications within 10 working days of receipt.
• Respond to e-mail enquiries within 5 working days of receipt.
• Respond to written correspondence within 5 working days of receipt.
