Snapshots
This feature of the application is available for both Graphs and Reports. The current graph or report will be displayed in a new browser window on your screen in web page format. This will take a few seconds to occur. When the graph/report page appears on your screen, there are a number of things that can be done with it.
Saving
Save the page (i.e. Graph or Report) to your own computer. This is achieved by selecting Save As from the File menu on the browser. On clicking Save As you will be presented with a regular windows save dialog which requires you to enter a file name and location to store the file.
Printing
This is achieved by selecting Print from the File menu on the browser (not on the ePACT.net application) where the page is displayed. Note: If your report or graph takes more space than is available on your paper, it will be cut off when printed. Therefore if you have problems fitting the whole report or graph onto the printout, try printing the page in landscape format instead. This is a setting in your printer properties.
Creating your own documents
Both graphs and reports can be copied from the page that the snapshot produces and pasted into applications like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. For example, you can drag and drop the graph images on the web pages directly into a word document. You can also use the data produced in the report to create your own graphs by copying the data into Microsoft Excel and using its built in tools to produce such things as pie charts and graphs.
