I am unaware of any publications that outline PCT reimbursement of smoking cessation products to pharmacists and smoking cessation clinics. This excludes prescriptions dispensed, but includes all NRT / Zyban issued under PGDs and re-imbursed directly by the PCT. Under the freedom of Information act, If possible I would like to have access to this information (latest 24 months) for all PCT reimbursed smoking cessation data as follows: (a) Reimbursment levels broken down by brand (Nicorette / Zyban etc)& by volume at a NATIONAl level (Eng / Scot / Wales) (b) Reimbursment levels broken down by brand (Nicorette / Zyban etc)& by volume at a PCT level (Eng / Scot / Wales) (c) A comparison of this information Vs what is dispensed on FP10. (d) Is this information available at a pharmacy / clinic level? (e) can this information be made available on a monthly basis?
