Having logged onto the system and selected the Specialist Drugs Report from the Report Selection you will be taken to a screen like the one below:

This shows the name of the report you have chosen (Specialist Drugs Report), two drop-down list boxes and a button. The top drop-down list box contains a list of organisations that you are authorised to view. The second list box contains a list of report periods that are available. Select the combination of organisation and reporting period that you wish to view and press the "Show Report" button. If you do not make a selection the application will default to the organisation and reporting period presently shown.

The top-level specialist drugs report for the organisation and report time selected will now be produced and shown in the lower section of the screen beneath the listboxes as shown below:

This shows the specialist drugs; sorted by BNF code, prescribed by that organisation for the chosen reporting period. It shows details of the organisation and version of the BNF used to formulate the report. The description field of the report, contains links on the drug names to the drill-down report available for that drug. Click on this link to view the drill-down report.

Viewing Further Reports

The drop-down list boxes will remain viewable so that at any time you may make a new selection and view a different report. To view other types of reports click a selection from the menu bar to the left of the screen.

The Drill-Down Report

Formulated dynamically when you click the link on the top-level report, this report will be displayed in the lower part of the screen replacing the top-level report you were viewing. An example of the report is shown below:

To return to the top-level report, use the back button on the menu bar of your browser.
