Online second edition of NPC's "Dispensing with Repeats. A practical guide to Repeat Dispensing."

The The National Prescribing Centre (NPC) has published a second edition of "Dispensing with Repeats. A practical guide to Repeat Dispensing." This new web-based version contains updated content and examples of practice to support the continued roll-out of repeat dispensing services through community pharmacies.

The guide is aimed at frontline NHS staff and clinical practitioners and covers all aspects of implementing and operating a repeat dispensing service. The new on-line edition contains sections on the electronic prescription service and includes additional examples of good practice from the NPC's community pharmacy framework collaborative and Integrated Medicines Management programmes. It is intended to help support and accelerate the uptake of repeat dispensing.
