Basic ePACT.net training course

A one-day training course designed for HA and PCG/T prescribing advisors and analysts wishing to use ePACT.net to analyse PCG/T prescribing and who have little or no experience of the system.

Objectives

On completion of training you should be able to:

  • Select and apply data.
  • Create tags
  • Produce basic reports and graphs.
  • Perform routine prescribing tasks.

Content

  • Explanation of prescribing terminology and prescribing measures.
  • Basic navigation - selecting and applying data.
  • Tagging.
  • Graphing.
  • Report Expert.
  • How to print and save graphs and reports

A maximum of eight delegates can be accommodated per course, with each delegate receiving full hands-on training. Delegates will be using their own prescribing data for the majority of the course, enabling them to create and save custom tags, graphs and reports on their own system.

Delegates should ensure that they have a valid user ID and password for the system.

Previous experience with the ePACT.net system is not necessary but delegates should have a basic working knowledge of Windows applications.

This is a full one-day training course starting at 9:30am and finishing at approximately 4.30pm. Delegates are expected to attend all sessions and should organise travel arrangements and work commitments accordingly.
