ETP Testing Strategy

The ETP pilot project is now in the testing phase. Once testing is complete the PPA will be making payments to dispensing contractors based upon the electronic message, unsupported by a paper duplicate of that message.

It is therefore essential that all interfacing computer systems transmit complete information with an accuracy level which equates to or improves the accuracy level currently achieved within the PPA.

Testing will be conducted in a number of stages to ensure that firstly, the systems are robust and secondly that the personnel involved in the operation of those systems are adequately trained to enable the messages received to contain data of an appropriate accuracy and quality.
