Acceptance Testing

This stage of testing is called acceptance testing. The objective of acceptance testing is to ensure that each Dispensing Contractor in the pilot can produce messages from their systems which reflect the quality and accuracy required to enable timely and accurate reimbursement and provision of prescribing and dispensing information. Each dispensing contractor may configure their systems in a different way, it is important to ensure that the individual systems are capable of producing messages to the required standard.

The PPA will receive the test pack of electronic messages and the associated patient declaration forms from each dispensing contractor in the pilot. PPA will process the electronic message through the ETP system and the patient exemption declarations through the compliance systems

Acceptance criteria will be based on the test messages being acceptable for payment purposes and the exemption declarations on the patient declaration forms being consistent with the declaration in the ETP message.
