The PCT must :

• Order personalised GP prescription pads from Astron in respect of the new practice details using the Astron ordering procedure.
  
• Ensure that all unused FP10 prescription pads are collected, which bear the details of the previous practice and destroyed in a secure manner.
  
• Ensure that the practice amend their software to ensure that no further prescriptions are issued bearing the GP's previous details.
  
• Advise the PPA of the budget(s) as soon as possible.

If the PCT does not supply information to the PPA in a timely manner, prescription costs may be attributed to an incorrect organisation.
