PCT Guidance for Organisational Changes
This guidance explains why and how you need to inform the PPA of any organisational changes within your PCT that will impact on the PPA systems.
The PPA is solely dependent on the PCT for updates in the following areas. Instructions on how to inform the PPA of any changes and which forms to use can be viewed or printed by selecting one of the relevant options below:
(Documents in PDF format )
1. General Practitioner
2. Walk in Centres
3. Nurses
4. Hospitals
5. Contractors (Pharmacy and Appliance)
6. Report Recipients
7. PCT details
8. Prescribing Budget
9. Patient List Sizes
The information you provide ensures:
- Accurate prescribing and dispensing reporting by the PPA (for additional information see PACT Technical Guide, Toolkit, ePACT.net)
- The PPA transfers valid prescriber details to Astron (prescription form printing company) so that personalised prescriptions can be produced.
NB You are responsible for ordering prescription pads from Astron
- Accurate payments are calculated by the PPA for contractors and prescribers.
Only authorised personnel in a PCT or an Agency, registered with the PPA, are responsible for informing the PPA of changes.
The completed information should be sent by post to:-
