Advanced Search
You can fine-tune your query and increase the accuracy of your search by using the search parameters provided in the Advanced Search page.
Your query should look like this:
The following advanced search parameters are displayed:
- Search in. Select the collections against which you want to perform the search. For quicker and more relevant results, select the collection that is most likely to contain the information you want.
- Find. Select an option from this drop-down list and type in the appropriate keywords in the adjoining field. Choose from the following options:
- all of the words. Every result will contain all of the keywords, though not necessarily the exact phrase, that you type.
- any of the words. Each of the results returned by the query will contain at least one of the keywords that you type.
- the exaxt phrase. Each of the search results will contain the exact phrase that you type.
- without the words. The results exclude all documents that contain the keywords that you type in the adjoining field.
- Title "does/does not" contain. The search queries the title of documents to either include or exclude certain keywords. Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list and type your keywords in the adjoining field.
- Since. Choosing forever allows you search all documents irrespective of time period; alternatively, restrict your results to the past week, month, six months, or twelve months.
