The PPA, in partnership with NHSIA (www.nhsia.nhs.uk/) and SCHIN (www.schin.ncl.ac.uk/), is promoting events for NHS users and suppliers to explain the current developments in the Primary Care Drug Dictionary (PCDD) and United Kingdom Clinical Product Reference Source (UKCPRS) projects.

Users
Three events in different parts of the country aimed at introducing the PCDD & UKCPRS2 projects to senior NHS staff. The events are aimed at senior medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, supplies, clinical governance and IT staff in all NHS organisations. Dates and venues have been confirmed as follows:

Tuesday 18th June 2002 - Royal Pharmaceutical Society, London
Wednesday 19th June 2002 - Crown Plaza, Leeds
Wednesday 26th June 2002 - Holiday Inn, Taunton.

A Suppliers Forum meeting has been arranged for 20 June 2002. A second event is planned for October 2002.
